1940’s Collins Bar burned then Tiny Browne purchased it and it was renamed Tiny’s Tavern, then Marty, Jim, John and Tom Herak ran it from 2001-2004 then Kristy Roylance did several years there. It is currently (2024) owned by the Hawk family and being converted into apartments.

After the fire update on the corner store:
Wamsley store to have a new purpose. At one point slated to be torn down, it was instead being built up and scheduled to make its debut as a dance pavilion the evening of July 3, 1981. Mrs. Isla (O’Hoyt) Schriner explained that the aim of the venture is to bring in name bands and fashion the business after the old Post Creek Pavilion, a well known dancing establishment which was eventually destroyed by fire. She and her former husband were once the owners of the Post
Creek Pavilion. Her children, Jim, Dan, Dahl and Jorge, are the new owners of the Wamsley building and are busy remodeling the structure. Work on the interior is well underway, and new exterior siding is to be in place by opening night. Dances are scheduled both July 3 and 4th.

1947-W&H opened their doors in Charlo Wilson and Howell.
Wilson then bought out Howell.
Gordon Bartell bought out Wilson in 1973.
Curt & Sandy Coulter with Jack & Bonnie Marrs purchased in 1975. Later Coulter bought them out in 77. Where they remained owners till Nov. 2023 when they sold to the current owner Rob Anschuetz.
