The Charlestown Band of Pirates

The Charlestown Band of Pirates The Charlestown Band Boosters Association, which administers this page, provides funding and resources for both the Charlestown Middle and High School bands!

The Band Boosters were initially incorporated in 1983 and is currently a 501(c)3 organization. The Charlestown Band of Pirates includes all bands and color guard programs of Charlestown High School and Middle school. Students are able to join band starting in the 6th grade and may continue to be in our band program through their senior year of high school. We offer a wide variety of opportunities, including the Marching Band of Pirates, Color Guard, Winter Guard, Solo and Ensemble, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. This page is administered by the Charlestown Band Booster Association, a 501(3)3 non-profit organization that works to make the band successful through volunteering and fundraising.

CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS: I have marched with the Pirates for 4 years (this is my 5th year). I love band camp and getting to know everyone and learn things about my section. I also love putting the music together and perfecting technique. I am going to miss my friends and having lots of fun with them.

CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS: I have been in the marching band for 4 years (this will be my fourth). I love getting to perform and finally put everything out on the floor. I will miss the little moments and performances we do for the football shows. The most meaningful experience I had with the Charlestown Band was melting in sectionals. It’s something different from all the other sections which makes the woodwinds special. I love hearing them laugh and have fun during it even when we’re supposed to be quiet. They’re just amazing people to be around.
