Purdue University Extension and the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources presents a four-part, online series "Wildlife Issues and Solutions". The first event on Unwanted Entry by Wildlife into Structures will take place on October 23, 2026. All sessions are noon to 1pm (EST).

Purdue Extension is offering a ServSafe Food Manager Certification training and examination on Tuesday December 08, 2026 at the Harrison County Lifelong Learning, Inc in Corydon, IN
This one-day course provides food safety education for food service managers, employees, and business owners and fulfills Indiana requirements for Certified Food Protection Managers. Topics include foodborne illness prevention, personal hygiene, food storage, food preparation, sanitation, and pest management.
Participants who successfully complete the exam with a score of 70 percent or higher will receive a certification valid for five years.

See below for details regarding an upcoming Food is Medicine program in our area!

🍎 Food is Medicine Program 🥦
Want to learn how healthy eating can help prevent or manage diabetes and heart disease? Join this FREE program featuring nutrition education, cooking demos, healthy food boxes, recipes, incentive items, labs, and more to help you address your own personal health barriers!

Food is Medicine is a 12 week course held on Wednesdays starting August 19th and ending on November 4th. The first and last session will be at Baptist Health Floyd from 4PM-6PM for labs while the remaining, bulk of the program will be held at the Purdue Polytechnic Building in New Albany from 10:30AM-12PM (noon).

Registration is required and participants will be asked to complete an eligibility survey!
