The Ladies Union Club honored our veterans tand military today.

Rose and Bill Goodwin led us with the pledge
of allegiance to our American flag, we sung the national athem and prayed for our brave military and their families.

We had lots of delicious home made food and desserts.

Afterwards we went to the Union Cemetery and dedicated the new gates and the bell.

This Cemetery is on the land that was home of the Methodist Union Church years ago before the government bought the land it was built on.

For many years the Ladies Union Club raised money to care for the Cemetery.

Later this was turned over to a board of volunteers who has worked diligently to secure this beautiful entry gate and restore the bell that was once a fixture at the church.

This Cemetery is located where is now the River Ridge Development.
