We had the very best night celebrating our amazing 4’s at graduation tonight.

They shined so brightly on stage and did such a wonderful job during their program. We are so proud of each and every one of them. They are more than ready for kindergarten, and we know they are going to do great things!

We also hope you all brought a tissue for that slideshow.
It was such a special way to commemorate each student and share a little glimpse of who they are right now, their favorite part of school, and what they dream of being when they grow up. We loved getting to celebrate those sweet moments with you.

As you’re reliving the night, drop a picture of your graduate below.
Please make sure the photo includes only your student, as we have a few families who choose not to have their child’s picture on Facebook and we want to honor and respect that. Thank you!

We had the best last in classroom day with our 4’s today.
They came in ready to shine, and they absolutely did.

We started our morning perfecting our graduation songs for tomorrow night’s ceremony. Their little voices were so sweet and strong, and they are more than ready to take that stage.

After that, we moved on to the fun stuff. We read our “Off to Kindergarten” storybook, and a few teachers may or may not have shed a tear. Watching these kiddos grow has been such a gift.

Then we celebrated our last birthday of the year with our friend Sawyer, which made the day even more special.

And to top it all off, we had an EPIC dance party that will go down in Wee Ones history. These kids have got some serious moves. Some of the teachers do too.

It was the perfect way to wrap up our time together in the classroom. We cannot wait to celebrate them at graduation tomorrow night and then spend their true last day with us on Friday as we ride the bus to Greenway Park for a fun morning of play.

We had such an awesome last day in the classroom with our 3’s this past Thursday.
Even though it wasn’t their official last day of school, it was our last day together in the classroom, and we made it a special one. They played, laughed, learned, and filled our rooms with so much joy, just like they have all year.

Tomorrow is their true last day, and we cannot wait to celebrate with them at Greenway Park.
We’re looking forward to a fun morning together on the playground, enjoying the sunshine, and making a few more sweet memories before we wrap up the year.

We are so proud of our 3’s and all the ways they have grown. It has been such a blessing to spend this year with them.

As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible women who make Wee Ones such a special place for our students. Their hearts, their patience, and their love for these kiddos shine through in everything they do.

Mrs. Cindy teaches letters and phonics and also serves as our director. She leads with so much grace and wisdom. She helps our little learners grow in confidence while guiding our school with a steady, loving hand.

Mrs. C teaches colors, crafts, and scissor skills. She fills our days with creativity and joy. She helps tiny hands learn big skills and makes every project feel exciting.

Mrs. Natalie teaches shapes and leads Minds in Motion. She keeps our students learning, moving, and building strong bodies and brains. Her energy and encouragement make such a difference in their growth.

Mrs. Marsha is our right hand lady. She steps in wherever she is needed, supports us so we can focus on the students, and is truly a blessing to our whole team. We could not do what we do without her.

And from me, Mrs. Kelly, teaching numbers is such a joy because of the team I get to work alongside. These women make Wee Ones feel like family.

As we head into our last week of the school year, I am feeling especially grateful. It has been such a blessing to spend these months with your sweet kiddos, learning, laughing, growing, and making memories we will carry with us.

Help us celebrate our amazing teachers by adding your thanks or a favorite memory in the comments below!

It is our very last week of school, Wee Ones families, and we are ready to make it a great one.
There will be no newsletter this week, so here is everything you need to know for these final days together.

Monday
Our 4’s have a normal school day filled with graduation practice, playtime, and all our favorite songs. A fun, easy start to our last week.

Tuesday
No school for our 3’s.

Wednesday
Another day of graduation practice and fun for our 4’s. Lots of smiles and lots of excitement building.

Thursday
Picnic day for our 3’s. Meet us at Greenway Park at 10 AM. Bring a sack lunch or snack. The NWSB Ice Cream Van will roll in around 10:45. Eat whenever you would like and enjoy a relaxed morning at the park. We usually wrap up around 11:30, but you are welcome to head out whenever you are ready. We are watching the weather closely, so keep an eye out for a text from Mrs. Cindy if anything changes.

Thursday Evening
Graduation night for our 4’s. Doors open at 5:45. Please check if your kiddo needs a restroom break when you arrive. Mrs. Cindy will let everyone know when it is time for students to head to the back and line up. After the ceremony, join us in the fellowship hall for light refreshments and be sure to grab your child’s memory box and special treat.

Friday
Our 4’s will be dropped off at school as usual. We will ride the bus to Greenway Park to meet parents at 10 AM. The NWSB Ice Cream Van will arrive around 10:45. Eat your snack or lunch whenever you are ready. We typically wrap up around 11:30, but you are free to leave whenever it works for your family.

As we close out this school year, our hearts are full.
Your children have brought so much joy, laughter, and growth into our classrooms. We are incredibly grateful for the support, kindness, and encouragement from our Wee Ones families all year long.

We hope you have the happiest, sunniest, most joy‑filled summer. Whether your child is heading to public school, homeschooling, or learning somewhere new, we know they are going to do amazing things!

The Wee Ones had such an exciting Week 2 of our Community Helpers theme. Both our 3’s and 4’s classes enjoyed a visit from the Charlestown Volunteer Fire Department on Monday and Tuesday. The firefighters taught us what to stay away from, how to keep safe in case of a fire, and who to call if we ever need help and only if it’s a real emergency. The children loved seeing the gear up close and learning how firefighters help keep our community safe.

On Wednesday, our 4’s got a special visit from Mr. Chuck and his bus. They learned all about bus safety and even got a sneak peek at the very bus they’ll be riding to the park for our class picnic day this Friday. Lots of excited faces as they practiced how to load and unload safely!

Next week’s newsletter will be our final one of the school year. The next two weeks will be filled with even more Community Helper fun, lots of time playing with our friends, and singing all of our very favorite songs. Our 4’s will also continue working hard as they get ready for their big graduation day.

We do have several NO SCHOOL days coming up. There will be no school on Friday, May 1 and no school on Tuesday, May 5.

Class picnic days will be held on Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8. Please be sure to check your newsletters for all the details you’ll need for those special days.

We’re soaking up every moment of these last weeks with your sweet kiddos.

The Wee Ones had the best week learning all about our Community Helpers. We kicked things off with a visit from Charlestown Police Department Officer Tyler Lyons, Charlestown Elementary’s SRO, on Monday and Tuesday. The children loved learning about his job and even got a peek inside his police vehicle. Our 4’s especially got a laugh when they spotted fellow classmate Walker’s car seat buckled into the back of his dad’s police car.

Our 4’s also enjoyed a bonus visit from Mrs. Anna, dental hygienist with PBJ Kids Dentistry. She taught us all about keeping our teeth clean and keeping those sugar bugs away. A big thank‑you to Mrs. Anna and PBJ Kids Dentistry for the toothbrushes so we can keep those sugar bugs away at home too.

We can’t wait for Week 2 of Community Helpers. On Monday and Tuesday we’ll welcome the Charlestown Volunteer Fire Department, and on Wednesday we’ll get a super special visit from Mr. Chuck and his bus.

Friendly reminder: Crusade for Children donations are due Monday for our 4’s and Tuesday for our 3’s. The Charlestown Volunteer Fire Department will be here those days to collect them. Thank you for your support.
