For the third consecutive year, Charleston International Airport is proud to support Lowcountry teachers by helping clear their classroom wish lists and provide much-needed supplies. 🍎📚

Here's how to participate:

✏️ Teachers: Submit your classroom wish list using your school-issued .edu email address for verification. Complete the form here: https://bit.ly/4fBopaQ

❤️ Everyone else: Nominate your favorite teacher and submit their wish list for a chance to have it cleared!

We'll be randomly selecting wish lists through August 15, so be sure to get your submissions in. Good luck! 🍎

Communication looks different for everyone, and the right tools can make a meaningful difference.

The South Carolina Assistive Technology Program is hosting an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Clinic for individuals with communication differences, family members, and professionals who support people who use AAC.

Participants will learn about different types of AAC, explore communication devices and software, and identify possible options for future trials or use based on an individual’s needs.

Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark civil rights law that was signed into law on July 26, 1990.

The ADA helps protect the rights of people with disabilities by promoting equal access and opportunity in schools, workplaces, public spaces, transportation, and more. While we've made meaningful progress, creating truly accessible and inclusive communities is an ongoing effort.
