Great News!
The Autism CARES Act of 2019, co-sponsored by Jersey Shore Congressman Chris Smith (Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties) provides $1.8-billion over five years for autism related programs.
The bill also helps adults with autism who are misdiagnosed, under-diagnosed and overlooked and emphasizes that causes, diagnoses, detection, prevention and treatment of those with autism spectrum disorder must be available for their entire life.
The Autism CARES Act of 2019 gets unanimous approval in the Senate A bill that will help children and adults on the autism spectrum and their families has been approved unanimously by the senate in Washington.
