The Autism CARES Act of 2019 gets unanimous approval in the Senate 09/23/2019

Great News!

The Autism CARES Act of 2019, co-sponsored by Jersey Shore Congressman Chris Smith (Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties) provides $1.8-billion over five years for autism related programs.

The bill also helps adults with autism who are misdiagnosed, under-diagnosed and overlooked and emphasizes that causes, diagnoses, detection, prevention and treatment of those with autism spectrum disorder must be available for their entire life.
