Thank you to San Miguel Mexican Grill & Bar for the coffee and pastries this morning! What an awesome way to start our morning. Our staff loved it!!!!!

Over the past week, Mrs. Benton and Mrs. Carpenter’s ML students in grades 1-5 have been learning about different winter holidays celebrated around the world! One holiday they learned about was Las Posadas, a 9 day celebration in Mexico and other parts of Central America. One way that it’s celebrated is with piñatas! Students got to make their very own Las Posadas piñatas to experience this fun tradition!

We had an amazing time at our PTA Meeting last night. Our 1st and 2nd grade students performed holiday songs and did a fantastic job. Our PTA Board provided a variety of holiday activities for our families to participate in. What an outstanding night!

First grade had a fantastic time at the Park Circle Playground today! Students were tasked with finding math in the real world! Classes created and solved math story problems based on what they observed on the playground.

Today our Child Development students had a gingerbread house party for their Building Unit celebration of learning. Families were invited to help along the way. Fun was had by all!

Congratulations to our Third Grade Scholars of the Month for December! These students were chosen by their teachers for following directions and expectations in class. Way to go, third graders!

📣MUSC is providing a Dental Clinic that is free for children under 16 that do not have dental insurance/ the means to cover cost.

The clinic will be held on February 7th from 8am-1pm and is done on a first come first serve basis .

Parents will need to call to schedule an appointment.
