🔢 Our kindergarten students are learning all about counting and quantities in math!

Today, students in Ms. King and Ms. Jones class practiced finding one more than a given number. They worked with partners to create their own number stairs, showing how numbers grow by adding one more. Then, students took a gallery walk, pretending they were visiting a museum as they explored and admired their friends’ work! 🏛️✨

🎶✨ Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! ✨🎶

Today, our students enjoyed a wonderful musical performance featuring Gregory Guay Classical Guitar, Constanza Kratsman, a parent of 2 former Mustang students, and Steven Sandifer! They shared the beauty and history of Latin music, introduced students to different instruments, and even had our students join in by clapping along to the beat.

The celebration ended with an opportunity for students to dance along to the final song!

It was a great performance that gave our students a wonderful opportunity to learn, listen, and celebrate Latin music and culture. ❤️💛

Our Child Development students wrapped up their Bridges Math apple theme for September. They enjoyed learning with apples all month long. Some classes celebrated by making apple nachos in class. 🍎

🤠✨ We had a Dolly Parton kind of day at Springfield! ✨🤠

Our students and staff had so much fun celebrating our first-ever Dolly Parton Day! From boots and denim to sparkles, big hair, and plenty of personality, our Mustangs were dressed to celebrate in true Dolly style! 👢🎀✨

We also celebrated Dolly’s love of literacy, kindness, and giving back by collecting new and gently used books to donate to the Lowcountry Orphan Relief. 📚❤️

What a fun way to celebrate 9/25 with a little nod to one of Dolly’s most beloved songs, 9 to 5! 🎶

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first Dolly Parton Day so much fun! We sure do love our Mustangs! 💕🤠📚

Zaxbys September Kidz Creative Night is coming up on September 30th from 5–7 PM! Kids can make their own fall owl, plus enjoy a free Kidz Meal with an adult meal purchase (limit 2).

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.🎗️We have several Mustang families who have been affected by childhood cancer. Our staff and students wore blue and yellow today to show our support!

We’re excited to celebrate our first-ever Dolly Parton Day on Friday, 9-25!

Students and staff are invited to celebrate Dolly’s love of literacy, kindness, and learning by dressing in their country-western best—boots, denim, sparkles, big hair, and plenty of personality! 👢✨

📚 Want to spread a little Dolly-inspired kindness? We are also collecting new or gently used books to donate to Lowcountry Orphan Relief. Families can send donated books to school for collection.

Let’s have some fun, spread some kindness, and celebrate the joy of reading! 💕📖
