We have hosted wine tastings every Thursday for the past six years focusing on a region or producer! It's been just a $5 donation to our featured non-profit, and we are honored to go out by helping Reading Partners. Their mission is to help children become lifelong readers by empowering communities to provide individualized instruction with measurable results. (This is a really amazing non-profit to volunteer with!!)

It’s Thursday! We are still here and smiling through the tears and ready to raise some more $$ through our Thursday tasting!! Tonight is a tasting tour of Greece benefiting … yesterday we were thrilled to hand over a check for nearly a thousand dollars to Camp Happy Days thanks to your April/May donations!! Giving back through our Thursday tastings has truly been one of our most favorite things — let’s keep the love going through the next couple of months — still plenty of tastings left to put on our calendar. They are drop-in events from 5:30 to 7:30 every Thursday and free with a $5 donation to our community partner!! ❤️❤️

It is with great sadness but also appreciation that I write to tell you that we are preparing for the finale of the Exchange. Yes, I know this is shocking. But while we plan on business as usual for the next 2 months – we also plan to have our mid-August anniversary party to double as a finale party for our beloved bottle shop/wine bar – The Exchange aka EOX.

Saturday, August 12, will be a Bubble Fest with all sorts of bubbly by the glass and Foxes Fried Food Truck parked outside from 3 to 6 (and live jazz of course)! That day will also kick off a 20% off storewide sale that will continue for a couple of weeks as we wind down.

I wanted to get the facts and details in front of you first, but now let me tackle the emotions. Creating the Exchange concept from the ground up has honestly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I will always consider it to be one of my greatest accomplishments. If businesses ran on LOVE we would be Fortune 500 undoubtedly! From our incredible team over many years (and incarnations) to you our devoted customers – there is simply so much LOVE. I have never felt as appreciated and supported as I have over the past six years, and my deepest gratitude goes out to each and every one of you!!

Happy Sunday!! This is basically how we feel about Rosé Fest — filled with love and gratitude for such a great turnout and amazing group of wine lovers!! And yes this cute puppy is available for adoption via — we met her foster parent yesterday before the festivities and fell in love — sweet, friendly, chill and so damn CUTE!!! Her name is Katniss ❤️💖

HAPPY THURSDAY! Don’t miss out on our EXTRA SPECIAL French tasting tonight featuring some very limited fresh deliciousness like two bubblies from Jeanne Piollot (pictured above)! Jeanne grew up at the southern edge of Champagne in the Aube, closer to Burgundy than to the Côte des Blancs or Reims. Working side by side out of the same domaine, her parents created two separate ranges of Champagnes: Piollot Père et Fille, which comes from vineyards on her father’s side, and Marie Courtin, which comes from her mother’s family vineyards. And so it’s only natural that Jeanne would collaborate with her parents under the same umbrella to create her own label, Dame Jeanne. With the prohibitive rise of Champagne prices over the last generation, acquiring new vines in Champagne seemed elusive, but the family decided to purchase a small domaine in Molesme, just 20 kilometers away over the border into Burgundy. By law, the wines have to be vinified and bottled in Burgundy, so Jeanne took over the winemaking and farming with her partner, Gennaro de Miccoli. Like her parents she believes in organic viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar. We are excited to share her sparkling white and rosé with you tonight! And both are 20% off all week long!! 🇫🇷🇫🇷❤️❤️

Also, we are SO excited to receive a tiny allocation of Nanclares Albarino. The wines have become very difficult to find and with good reason – they are some of the most pure, terroir reflective Albarinos around! Here’s the story!

Alberto Nanclares worked as an economist for years and retired with his wife to a seaside village where they bought a home that happened to come with some vineyards. At first, he made wine just for their own enjoyment but gradually fell in love with the process and pursued it as a second career. He is now one of the most respected producers of Albarino – making it in a very natural style with organic viticulture, native yeasts and minimal use of SO2. Since 2015 he has made his wines in partnership with Silvia Prieto, a native of the region. This wine is from 10 organically farmed plots. The vines range in age from 15 to 95 years and are all planted on decomposed granite sands.

These wines are incredibly limited so come grab them while supplies last. Cheers!!
