✝️🙏In the 2023-2024 school year, Bishop England High School dedicated itself to fostering spiritual growth, individual responsibility, and service to others. The values of faith, service, tradition, and family were not just words but guiding principles deeply instilled in our students. This cultivation of leadership qualities, commitment to service, and the desire to contribute to a better world was evident in the various events and opportunities that allowed our students to celebrate their faith and make a difference in the world.

🎉 We are excited to announce that Cindy Hart is joining us as the new Alumni Director. Cindy has a wealth of experience, a passion for community building, and a deep commitment to our alumni network. Her energy and vision will greatly enhance our efforts to engage and support our alumni.

☘️Cindy has spent 24 years at BE as our Finance and Human Resources Director. She will now transition from finance to take on the role of Director of Human Resources and Alumni Relations. Although Cindy did not graduate from BE herself, her son graduated in 2003, and her daughter graduated in 2005. She is eager to expand our alumni community and focus on our faculty and staff. Cindy is enthusiastic about fully supporting our alumni!

During the last week of classes, Bishop England High School alumni spoke in theology classes. Sister Thalassa of the Servidores '03 and Seminarian Jake Nadeau '20 shared with seniors the impact Bishop England had on their vocations. They talked about the joy of dedicating one's life fully to God and serving His people, as well as the Saints who have greatly impacted their lives, including St. Faustina, Bl. Chiara Badano, and St. Ignatius Jogues. Jake recently graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and is currently in seminary formation at Theological College. It is a blessing to have our alumni return to share their success, and please keep them both in your prayers as they pursue their vocations.

✝️ Les's journey in education began at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, where he cultivated his love for teaching and leadership. Over the years, he has worn many hats – from inspiring students in the classroom and on the athletic fields to spearheading admissions initiatives and nurturing philanthropic partnerships. His dedication to Catholic education and his commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on all those he has served.

☘️ What led Les to Bishop England? It culminated in faith, family, and a deep-rooted desire to make a difference. His connection to Charleston runs deep, fueled by years of visits and a genuine appreciation for the Lowcountry's charm. With his wife Linda and their four children, Les has found a community where they can thrive and contribute to a mission that resonates with their values. He is thrilled that his son Joseph will join the BE Class of 2028 as a freshman. Les is also excited about his role as the leader of the Advancement Team, where he can help build a program focused on the mission and the donors.
