Step into a world where magical stories come to life and every child is celebrated for exactly who they are! Unicorn Society Jr. is more than a class—it’s a cozy, confidence-building adventure designed for children ages 4–7 who love imagination, creativity, and making new friends.
Each week, we’ll journey through enchanting stories, explore legendary creatures, build literacy skills, and practice kindness, empathy, courage, and confidence through hands-on activities, imaginative play, and meaningful conversations. Every child will also receive their own hardcover Magical Unicorn Society book and a special unicorn-themed activity pack to continue the magic at home!

Hello fellow parents! My name is Ms. Tasha, and I am the founder of Ms. Tasha’s Social Time.
After years of joyfully teaching within our local homeschool community, I am so excited to announce that I am opening a brand-new, intimate after-school program for children ages 7–9!
What is Ms. Tasha’s Social Time?
My program is a safe, inclusive, and kindness-first space designed to help children grow their confidence while learning vital social-emotional skills. In our weekly Tuesday afternoon sessions, we will focus on:
Emotional Wellness: Learning to identify and navigate "big" emotions with healthy, effective strategies.
Heart-Centered Growth: Building empathy, curiosity, and the art of healthy relationship-building.
Confidence & Character: Developing assertiveness, conflict resolution skills, and a sense of stewardship for our beautiful Earth.
Why Join?
I believe that when children feel safe, they flourish. I intentionally keep my classes small to ensure every child is heard, celebrated, and able to form deep, lasting friendships with their peers. Your child’s safety, comfort, and trust are my absolute top priorities.
The Details:
When: Tuesday Afternoons, beginning September 2026, and class time is one hour.
Where: Near Charles Towne Landing (The exact location is kept private for the safety and privacy of all students; please PM me for details).

A little bit about my newest adventure at Ms. Tasha’s Social Time….

At the core of my world lies a fervent passion for helping little ones blossom into emotionally and socially confident beings. My deepest, sparkliest wish is to empower young girls, crafting a sanctuary where they can unfurl their wings and be their most authentic, brilliant selves. With a background woven from theater, creative writing, and vocal performance, I hold the firm belief that learning shouldn’t just be done—it should be experienced with joy and a sprinkle of magic!
Having spending sometime teaching within co-ops and blossoming my own space—Ms. Tasha’s Social Time—last year, I am ever-ready to provide references should you wish to see how our garden grows.
The Magical Unicorn Society was the brainstorm of my own daughter, inspired by our mutual adoration for unicorns and the wonder of inventive learning. Here is a glimpse into the treasures we shall uncover:
Social Learning: Our dear Unicorn friend, Nova, shall whisk us away on adventures to explore virtues like cooperation, integrity, kindness, wonder, and courage. For every lesson mastered, your child will earn a glowing “virtue gem” to add to her growing collection.
Geography: Follow our unicorn friend Calliope as each story acts as a magic carpet, transporting us to lands like Nepal, London, or China. Our guide, Calliope, will share a mini-lesson on the region and introduce us to a famous woman in history from those very corners of the world.
Literary Quests: Using “The Magical Unicorn Society Handbook” (which each child receives to keep in their personal Explorer’s Kit), we will explore the elements of literature, holding “book club” chats and practicing our sharpening minds with an activity to record key details from our stories in our special “Quest Books.”
Movement & Magic: After a well-deserved stretch and bathroom break, we shall dive into the whimsical world of Language Arts—conquering nouns, verbs, and adjectives through mini-lessons and creative activities in our Quest Books.
The Art of Storytelling: We will explore the elements of writing, and the girls will begin their daily prompts, which they may whisk home to finish. The following week, one lucky explorer will be chosen to share their masterpiece during our morning “Blessing Circle” (did you know a group of unicorns is called a blessing? How lovely is that?).
Parting Spells: We shall close our time together with our grounding goodbye affirmations.
After our morning journey, I invite the girls to a complimentary lunch time (parents to provide lunch) until 12:45. You are most welcome to join us, or simply arrive at 12:45 for pickup. Should your daughter wish to stay and play a while longer, my own daughter, Emmy (age 7), would be absolutely thrilled for the company!
Our space is a violence-free, inclusive haven, ensuring every heart feels safe and cherished. I have intentionally capped our circle as I find this intimate number allows true, lasting friendships to take root. The curriculum I created is a true labor of love—long in the making, but crafted with every ounce of my heart—and I am bubbling with confidence that it will be a marvelous experience.
Each explorer will receive an “Explorer’s Tote” on our first day, brimming with all the materials they could possibly need (all included!). It is their special job to bring their tote each week, helping them learn the magic of taking ownership of their own treasures.

🦄 A Message from the Magic Council! ✨

Dearest Magical Unicorn Explorers,
Grab your flower crowns, pack your imagination, and dust off your finest glitter! The stars have aligned, the ancient maps have been unrolled, and the gates to The Magical Unicorn Society are officially preparing to swing wide open!
We are about to embark on an enchanting outdoor quest where nature meets imagination. Together, we will step into the fresh air to explore world geography, dive into the magic of literature, creative writing, and ELA skills, and nurture our hearts with cozy emotional wellness practices.

A Note on Our Gathering: Our society is entirely secular, and our doors are wide open to everyone. This is a full safe space where all explorers are kind—a place where every unique spirit is celebrated and protected. No matter where you come from or what your background is, all are welcome in our circle!

Quick Reminders for Our Quest:
• Our Gathering Day: We will meet for our 12-session journey on Tuesdays! (Keep an eye out for our full calendar schedule arriving soon.)
• The Dress Code: Magical outfits are highly encouraged! Feel free to wear your favorite whimsical colors, capes, or unicorn horns—just ensure they are comfortable enough for outdoor exploring and frolicking.
• Your Explorer’s Kit: Keep your eyes sparkled and ready—your special tools for our adventure are being prepared by the woodland sprites as we speak.
• A Note on Our Scrolls: While our magical journey won't be focused on the mechanics of handwriting, we will practice putting pen to parchment with beautiful copy work from time to time to document our discoveries.
After class I’m offering a complimentary lunch play time, so our whimsy makers can enjoy each other’s company. Parents, you are welcome to join at this time if you’d like, but optional. Pick up will be at 12:45.
This is a drop off program, but I am happy to help facilitate a more gentle transition if a child needs it.
