The tibia, fibula— You'll know all their zones!

You'll master the R-I-C-E, you'll wrap and you'll tape,
You'll handle each injury back to tip-top shape!

Concussions and sprains, strains and breaks too,
Anatomy, kinesiology— All waiting for you!

Some days will be easy, some days will be tough,
But stick with it, student — You've got the right stuff!

Prevention is key, compassion is too, Athletes need someone— And that someone is YOU!

So welcome, dear student! Your journey starts today.

Twas the night before Sports Med, and all through the school,
Ms. Heather’s students were following each rule.
The pre-wrap was stacked by the rolling chairs,
In hopes that Ms. Heather would soon find them there.
The students nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of ligaments danced in their heads.
With anatomy guides and a roll of white tape,
They prayed that their ankle tapes turned out in shape.
When out on the turf there arose such a clatter,
Ms. Heather ran out to see what was the matter.
Away to the sidelines she flew like a flash,
Tore open the splints and the first-aid kit stash.
She yelled, "Now rehab! Now taping! Now icing and rest!
Study your flashcards and pass this big test!
From the top of the skull to the bones in the toe,
Now wrap away, wrap away, wrap away, go!"
