CASTING NOTICE:
The City of Charleston Cultural Affairs Office is planning their Juneteenth Block Party Celebration (which will take place on Ann St on June 19th), which will be a tribute to Michael Jackson backed by a band with national talent organized by American Idol and Dancing with the Stars' Ray Chew.
Along with the incoming talent, they are looking to cast a local youth performer to perform as young Michael Jackson. Ideal candidates will be between ages 9-14 ( be slightly older if voice and look are right) and would be able to prepare using charts or recordings.

Reminder: The rescheduled Town of James Island's First Friday Market will take place THIS Friday, May 15, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road.
Join us for an evening featuring nearly 50 local businesses and craft vendors, five food trucks, and two dessert trucks. Enjoy live music by “John Price and the Moonshine Boys," and family-friendly attractions including Hullette Farm's Petting Zoo with pony rides. Dusty Tails Animal Rescue will also be onsite with adoptable pets for those looking to welcome a new addition to their family.
