Celebrating three years of leadership, service, and dedication to Charleston Southern!

From expanding campus to everyday moments with our students, faculty, staff, and community, the past three years have been filled with milestones that have helped shape Buc Nation.

Today, weā€™re taking a look back at just a few moments along the way and looking ahead to all that is still to come!

Happy three years, President Faulkner!

What happens when we encounter Christ in both the magnificent moments and the mundane ones?

In Chapel, we reflected on Psalm 63 and David's deep longing for God. It's easy to recognize God in the big, beautiful moments, but what about the ordinary ones?

Brent Crowe challenged us all to consider our personal view of Christ. He asked, who is Jesus to you? Not just who you've read about or been told about, but who you've experienced Him to be.

The magnificent and the mundane both teach us something: Christ is worthy of our attention, our pursuit, and our praise in every moment.

"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you." - Psalm 63:3

The right words at the right time can change someoneā€™s trajectory.

Today in chapel, Mac Lake shared from Hebrews 3:13, reminding us of the importance of encouraging one another every day.

He gave our students a simple framework: The ABCā€™s of Encouragement:
A - Acknowledge what you see
B - Believe in othersā€™ potential
C - Call them forward

Encouragement isnā€™t just about recognizing where someone is, itā€™s about helping them see where they can go.
