Congratulations to Dr. Dawn Casas, CSU's 2026 SCICU Excellence in Teaching Award recipient! Casas is an assistant professor and chairs the department of communication.

Deeply committed to student-centered, experiential learning, Casas connects communication theory to real-world application with distinctly Christian integration. Last year, she also received CSU's E.P.I.C. Award for her passion for student success.

We continue to celebrate our largest graduating year in university history! With 881 new alumni from the fall and spring, the Buccaneer family continues to grow with graduates who are prepared to lead, serve, and make an impact wherever God calls them. 💙🎓
