Congratulations to this week's Unsung Educator of the Week, Amy Conroy - Assistant Principal at James Simons Montessori School

Ms. Amy gives her heart daily to the staff, students, and families at James Simons. She handles bus complaints with grace, ensuring students arrive to school (and home in the afternoons) on time! Ms. Amy's door is always open for teachers and staff who need to talk through a problem, hold a restorative conversation with students, or work through a logistics issue.

She is an incredible planner and ensures that all testing runs smoothly. Most recently, Ms. Amy worked with our school counselors to plan a schoolwide Career Fair and with our music department to plan the Spring Concert! Spreadsheets are her jam! --nominated by a colleague

We had a wonderful Montessori Family Night this evening where children gave lessons to their parents, showed off work in the classroom and learned about the other Montessori levels. I am so grateful for our amazing Montessori community! 🥰
