We had so much fun this week!! A PBIS celebration, STAR Students, the 100th day of school, and a fifth grade field trip!

Congratulations to Audriana! She received a perfect score on the SC Ready Math test! She was celebrated at our Second Quarter Awards Ceremony with a medal, certificate, and a standing ovation!! Way to go Audriana!

Ms. Coyne’s fifth grade leadership group planned a fall festival with their CD buddies. Activities included a fall photo shoot, water table, magnetic habitats for Guinea pigs, Turkey crafts and a fine dining snack table.

Mitchell scholars and staff had fun this week at Trunk or Treat and celebrating Red Ribbon week!

Superintendent Kennedy visited Mitchell Elementary today to celebrate our fabulous staff and all of the hard work they do each and every day! Mitchell Sharks will move mountains!

The Mitchell Speedy Sharks Running Club had their first practice today. They are working towards the goal of completing a 5k race. On day one the scholars already showed encouragement for one another and determination!

Fourth grade scholars enjoyed visiting Folly Beach for a “Seining the Sea” presentation. They also had a chance to play in the ocean and stop by the ice cream shop!

We are so thankful to be able to take field trips again! Second grade scholars visited Cypress Gardens!
