Brandi Duzz, C'19, joined Stantec Engineering, Charleston office, as a Transportation Engineer. Her work focuses on concept development, roadway design, utility coordination, construction permitting, and hydrologic/hydraulic design. In addition to her engineering career, she also serves as a U.S. Marine Corps Reservist.
She credits her capstone project, design of Palmetto Commerce Interchange in N. Charleston, with having a huge impact on her career path. The project included traffic analysis, roadway, bridge, geotechnical, and drainage design. Her team’s recommendations were presented to an expert panel of practicing engineers. Brandi says, “without this project I wouldn't be where I am today. In my interview with Stantec, I described my curriculum design experiences and this knowledge played a significant role in obtaining my job offer and providing a great foundation for my career. “
