Our third graders celebrated the third day of third grade by getting out into our community! 💛 We walked to the park in the town of Charleston, enjoyed some playtime, played team games, and had so much fun getting to know one another. 🌟

4th grade outdoor adventure at Deer Creek State Park (Day Use Area)

Students learned about the state park rules - how to respect, protect, and explore the area. They also learned about local plants & animals, practiced mindfulness & earthing near Provo River, and enjoyed nature journaling. On the way back to the school campus, they did a community service - picked up most of the trash. Next week they will meet with the park ranger to learn more about the local environment and wildlife.

5th grade did a campus trash cleanup and then explored the properties of bubbles- some stacked the bubbles, moved them to a different place or figured out how to delay what made them pop!
