We had a special surprise farewell celebration for Sister Richarde and Sister Suzanne this week. Not a dry eye in the audience. We are forever grateful to the Sisters for their hard work, love, and dedication to our school and students. Thank you to PTO and the Faculty that made this all possible.

K4 and K5 had their Moving Up Ceremony today. We are so proud of our “mini” students and all they have accomplished this year! Congratulations! Thank you to PTO for the reception and Mrs. Andino for the cake.

Catie and Flora (8th Grade) auditioned and have been accepted into the Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. They will spend a week in New York City studying and performing this summer. Congratulations! Come check out our talented band tomorrow night at 6:30 pm.

Congratulations to 8th Graders Catie, Ella Kate, and Katherine for earning the top 3 awards in the Knights of Columbus Patriotic Essay contest. Catie won first place, Ella Kate won second place, and Katherine won third place. Also, we want to give a "shout out" to Mrs. Pridgen, our 8th Grade English Teacher.

Students and guests learned fun and interesting facts with the 4th Grade Historical Figures Wax Museum project.

We are so proud of the 4th Grade Lower Drama students and all their hard work. Their performance last week was fantastic! Thank you to Mrs. Santiago, Mr. Picket and everyone that helped make this show a success.

Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd grade Movement class and 3rd grade Chorus class on their performance on Friday. Great job everyone!

We had 19 entries in the student art exhibit at the North Charleston Arts Festival this past weekend. 4 students earned ribbons. Congratulations to Genevieve (Gr. 1) for second place with her art work, as well as Nora (Gr. 5), Henry (Gr. 2) and Owen (Gr. 8), who received honorable mention awards. Great job everyone!

Silas, K5 student, was Principal for a day. He had the opportunity to interview Mr. McKay and shadow him. He was able to experience the different duties and responsibilities that a Principal has.

We had an amazing Field Day! We played lots of games, enjoyed pizza, ice cream, music, and singing. Thank you to Mrs. Lehr and Mrs. Kandl for organizing this day. Thanks to our volunteer parents for helping!

The 3rd graders enjoyed a day at the Charleston Museum learning about Native American History and fossils.

Thank you to Nick, 7th grade, for making his service project all about teacher appreciation. A beautiful spread of delicious treats! Thank you!!

8th Grade visited NASA’s Kennedy Space Center today on their class trip. 🚀

Neil Oliver, President-Elect of the Kiwanis Club of Charleston, presents a check for $750 to Mary Taylor, Director of Student Success Program at The Charleston Catholic School, as part of Kiwanis Club's Worthwhile Endeavors Grant program. These funds will help provide mental health counseling through JSS Behavioral Services to Charleston Catholic students.

7th graders had the opportunity to visit Bulls Island as part of the Life Science Curriculum. Thank you to Coastal Expeditions and Mrs. Siedentop for a wonderful trip!

CCS Fishing Club was at Mt. Pleasant Pier this weekend. A bit chilly and no fish caught, but grateful to spend time with friends and have hot chocolate!
