It is with great sadness that we share the news that April Fox has passed away.

April dedicated nearly three decades of service to EIASE, serving in many roles throughout her career, including teacher, principal, associate director, and developmental screener. Across those roles, she impacted the lives of thousands of students, families, and colleagues.

April was nearly universally loved by those who knew and worked with her. She had a remarkable gift for caring for others. She remembered birthdays, checked on families, recognized the best in people, and made others feel valued. She was kind, thoughtful, compassionate, and brought humor and warmth to those around her each day.

April was a wonderful coworker, leader, and friend. Her loss will be deeply felt across EIASE and the many communities she served throughout her career.

Services celebrating her life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on June 6, 2026, at Templeton Funeral Home, with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private at a later date.

Please continue to keep April’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The Pre Vocational Department recently celebrated two retiring EIASE employees, Lori Woodruff and Vicki Rasmussen. Lori and Vicki each dedicated 15 years to EIASE as Pre Vocational Coordinators. Throughout the years, they have impacted countless students by helping them build employability skills, maintain employment, and develop independence in the workforce. We wish them both all the best in retirement. Thank you for your years of dedication and service. Congratulations!🎉

EIASE Recycling will be closed from May 20th - June 9th to clean up, reorganize, and to get ready for our summer hours! We will reopen on Wednesday, June 10th at 9 am.

Yesterday EIASE's Rehab Team got to celebrate Tracy Carlen's 35 years of service as a PTA. Tracy has served hundreds of students, mentored numerous coworkers and touched countless lives. We wish you all the best as you enter into this new stage of life. Happy Retirement, Tracy! 🎉

Thursday was a beautiful day for a Field Day ar HTLC! 🌞 Some of the games played were 3 legged race, ring toss, potato sack races, corn hole, and egg races. Everyone's favorite was the tug of war and face painting! Thanks to Mr. Coy on the grill for making delicious hot dogs and burgers! 🌭🍔
