There isn't anything better than ice cream in the summer! The Rascally Raccoons had a fun themed week of ice cream, ending with them making their own vanilla ice cream. The kids loved mixing the ingredients and watching it churn in the machine. Of course, tasting was the best part! 🍦

Another fun part of our summer was the parent led readings and activities in the Brilliant Belugas! We had several parents come read to the class, which we love. Families are always welcome to offer to read to our classes, any time of the year! 📖🛋

Next up on our fun summer adventures was a camping themed day in the Savvy Seahorses! Ms. Carmen, Ms. Lauren, & Ms. Barrie set up the classroom with a large tent, small tent, and camping accessories. The "evening" was complete with toasting marshmallows over a digital fire and some spooky tales. ⛺🔦🏕

Summer has been SO fun at LSS that I haven't been able to post much, but will try to catch up on all of the fun things we've gotten to do! Starting off, the Jumping Jellies had a pirate day, complete with a treasure hunt! Shiver me timbers!! 🏴🪙⚓

We are about to start our summer break! Happy (early) 4th and hope everyone stays safe & has fun this week! 🥳🎆🇺🇸

We had the world's best magician at school on Tuesday! Noodle McDoodle did an amazing act with juggling, balloons, coin tricks, and card tricks. It was super fun and we loved getting to see the cute reactions from the children when he did his big reveals! 🐰🎩

Ms. Sophia, it has only been 5 years, but it feels like you have been a huge part of the school forever! You work every single day to teach our children so much and you always do it with style & care. Our Belugas wouldn't be the same without you. Your daily help & dedication is unmatched! Thank you for everything. We love you so much and can't wait to see what the next 5 years will bring!

Our second annual Mothers and Special Others Tea Party was incredible! Lots of homemade goodies, tea sandwiches, Ruby's New York Style Bagels donation, with tea and lemonade. Such a special way to celebrate such special women in our lives! 🥰💐 Happy Mother's Day!

Our last day of Teacher Appreciation Week, we celebrated our wonderful "gifts" of incredible teachers! They participated in a gift card drawing where they got to choose two gift cards. We had all kinds, $15 - $50 to pick! 💳🎁 We enjoyed a delicious East Bay Deli sandwich lunch from the O'Grady family to wrap up this spectacular week!! We LOVE our teachers so much!! We couldn't do what we all do without the help of teachers in our early years, so please thank a teacher today!! 🧑‍🏫🍎
