We thoroughly enjoyed the past month because we got to hatch chicks! 🥚 We started with our eggs in the incubator, checked on them twice by candling (shining a light through the egg to look and see the growth), and watched them hatch out of their eggs. 🐤 We were fortunate enough to have 10 healthy babies. This was SUCH a special experience for the kids & teachers! We loved getting to see the babies and made special bonds with the chicks. 🐣 Our favorite was little Fred, the mostly blonde one that cheeped cheeped cheeped so loudly all day! 😁 I'll post some videos in the comments! 🌞

Our lives are changed every day with our grandparents! Little Sage hosted a Grandparent's Breakfast in their honor on Friday to celebrate. Grandparents plant seeds of love that bloom for generations. We love you so much! We had a delicious spread featuring Ruby's New York Style Bagels. If you haven't had their bagels, go! They are amazing and a wonderful part of our community.

Last week was SO fun because we got to have demo classes with everyone for all of our extracurricular classes! We have an extracurricular class for every day of the week! The kids got to play instruments with Stretch-n-Grow of Charleston/Columbia & Savannah's Music Stars 🎶, dance with Dance Love More 💃, act and play pretend with Shining Stars Charleston🌟, soccer with Soccer Shots Charleston⚽, and complete science experiments with Spark Learning ⚗! Parents can pick and choose which they would like their kids to join, so there is always something new to do!

The month of August is almost over already and we spent it saying goodbye to old friends, hello to new ones, and spent time with each other learning our new classes and routines! It has been both sad and happy and we look forward to everything the new school year will bring for us! 🥰

There isn't anything better than ice cream in the summer! The Rascally Raccoons had a fun themed week of ice cream, ending with them making their own vanilla ice cream. The kids loved mixing the ingredients and watching it churn in the machine. Of course, tasting was the best part! 🍦

Another fun part of our summer was the parent led readings and activities in the Brilliant Belugas! We had several parents come read to the class, which we love. Families are always welcome to offer to read to our classes, any time of the year! 📖🛋

Next up on our fun summer adventures was a camping themed day in the Savvy Seahorses! Ms. Carmen, Ms. Lauren, & Ms. Barrie set up the classroom with a large tent, small tent, and camping accessories. The "evening" was complete with toasting marshmallows over a digital fire and some spooky tales. ⛺🔦🏕

We had the world's best magician at school on Tuesday! Noodle McDoodle did an amazing act with juggling, balloons, coin tricks, and card tricks. It was super fun and we loved getting to see the cute reactions from the children when he did his big reveals! 🐰🎩
