At SCMS, we want students to have opportunities to complete missing and late assignments while also encouraging responsibility and staying on track.

Our late work policy is:

Late work will be accepted through the end of each 4½-week grading segment.
Students have until the end of the current grading segment to turn in late or missing work.
Once a grading segment has ended, teachers will no longer accept late work from that period.
Students and families are encouraged to regularly check grades and communicate with teachers if additional support is needed.
Please encourage your student to stay current with assignments and take advantage of the time provided during each grading segment.

For our fifth year, Serve First Foundation is bringing together first responders, community organizations, families, and friends for an afternoon dedicated to one simple mission: Bridging the Gap between first responders and the communities they serve.
