She is an extraordinary educator who will do anything for her students, those she works with, and the overall community of which she is a part. I am very grateful to work alongside her on projects too numerous to count which allows me to see her hard work and dedication firsthand.

“MeLea has a kind heart and a positive attitude,” said Science teacher Suzanne Muoio. “The other day, when I was a little frustrated with a lesson, she asked if I needed a hug. It helped! MeLea listens attentively in class and asks great questions to deepen her (and her classmates) learning. She takes notes fastidiously every day and studies hard. She is a valuable member of the WA cheer team and still manages to maintain all A's and B's. I will truly miss her when she graduates this year.”
Congratulations MeLea!!

Congratulations to the November 2022 10th Grade Student of the Month, Autumn Manning!!
“I am nominating Autumn Manning for many reasons, but the main reason is her outstanding support of her classmates,” said World Languages teacher Julia Royall. “She comes to class every day with a positive attitude and she provides encouragement to her classmates regularly. When she notices someone is struggling, she wants to help. I often see her offering someone a snack who is hungry. She is always the first to volunteer to help her classmates and me. In addition to being kind and helpful, she works hard and does very well academically. She has been nominated several times by different teachers for PBIS Student of the Week which demonstrates how worthy she is of being Student of the Month.”
Congratulations Autumn!!
