First week of camp was a hit! Lots of happy faces in each classroom. On Friday we celebrated Father's Day with a special breakfast. We are ready for Week 2!
We are so proud of 2 special graduates from Porter-Gaud this year, William Ibsen and Adam Lavelle. Both of these boys graduated from the James Island O'Quinn School and both have mothers who teach at O'Quinn, Lise Ibsen and Heather Lavelle. We are a part of one big family!
Discovery Lunch time! What a grand arrival awaited the children who have traveled all around the world this year! The welcome home signs and parents waiting to greet them was a thrill.
Mrs. Lavelle and Mrs. Powell had a really Wacky Wednesday! Oh, their children had a Wacky Wednesday, too!
Wacky Wednesday is fun for the teachers and especially fun for the children. From hairdos to funky shoes and socks, the children went all out!
What's a week with Wacky Wednesday!!
The 3's were in top form this Wednesday, and the teachers were having a great time.
Becky Becker with Becky's Box of Puppets provided an in-house field trip for our 2's and 3's classes this morning. Becky always provides such entertainment for our classes, and the show is such a treat!
Butterfly Release on Wednesday, May 14th.
Each May all of the classes receive caterpillars to nurture into butterflies. They learn about the life cycle and other interesting facts. Once the butterflies have hatched the classes come together to release them into the wild. It's a magical event!
Fun with the 5's practicing basketball!
The 5's were having a great time in PE in the gym today.
