Dear Alumni, Friends, and Colleagues,
As the year draws to a close, we are excited to share more good news from the School of Engineering. Students from our Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering Departments, coached by Dr. Pooya Niksiar, led our team to first and second-place finishes against cadets from West Point and the U.S. Naval Academy.
Additionally, Stephen Davis, '85, and his wife, Lori, have generously donated $3.5 million in honor of his father. This gift will be named the Dr. Emmett I. Davis, Jr., '50, Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering. We invite you to read this newsletter for more exciting news about the achievements of our cadets, students, and faculty. Thank you for all you do for the School of Engineering.
We wish you a precious and blessed time with your loved ones as you celebrate the holiday season. Merry Christmas!
Very Respectfully,
Andrew B. Williams, Ph.D., M.B.A.
