The LHSM provides a mechanism for communication, collaboration, and coordination between the College of Charleston and STEM education communities.
The LHSM serves K-12 public, private, home school, and pre-service educators in the SC lowcountry by offering educator workshops and community outreach. The LHSM houses a Resource Library of standards-based science and mathematics instructional materials available for loan, including but not limited to, educator toolkits, textbooks, math manipulatives, models, and professional journals. The overall finalists in the Senior Division will each get a $2,500 Scholarship Award to come to the College of Charleston and major in a STEM discipline in the School of Sciences and Mathematics.
