The TTC Grocery Vault could use your help. They are preparing for their annual Thanksgiving Dinner Meal Kit giveaway, and they need donations to help make it happen. You can donate funds to the Foundation designated for the Grocery Vault by going to https://www.tridenttech.edu/foundation/support/DonateNow.htm then scrolling down to Designation, choosing Other from the pull-down menu, then typing Grocery Vault into the box.
You could also bring items by one of the Grocery Vault campus locations. They need:
frozen turkeys
cans of cranberries
cans of green beans
boxes of stuffing mix
packets of gravy mix
boxes of instant potatoes

Need help with math? Trident Tech's Mathematics department has you covered. Students can schedule one-on-one tutoring appointments in Navigate for either in-person or virtual tutoring throughout the week.
Other options include drop-in assistance with your math instructors (call or email during posted office hours) or you can post questions on the Trident Tech Math Help page. You can also find resources specific to individual courses such as Tutor.com, Hawkes, ALEKS, or XYZ linked inside of the D2L course page.

The Clemente Program is offered at the Downtown Palmer Campus!
The Charleston Clemente Course Project is offering a free course for low-income and disadvantaged adults. Students learn and participate in different topics and activities in humanities and arts as well as receive free books, materials and a meal.
Classes begin Tuesday, Aug. 22 and are located at Trident Technical College Downtown Palmer Campus. Support from mentors, classmates and faculty help students succeed. Many Clemente graduates move on to achieve their associate and bachelor’s degrees, obtain stable jobs and careers, and move out of shelters and into their own apartments.
With 65 Clemente Courses available throughout the world, Trident Tech currently provides the only Clemente Course in South Carolina, serving as the Southeast Center for Clemente.

Want to up your cooking skills? We have some new workforce (continuing education) culinary classes at the Palmer Campus to help you do just that.
Fundamentals of Cooking I- Monday and Tuesday evenings. 5:30-9:30PM. Palmer/176C. 6 weeks. August 28-Oct. 3 (24 hrs.). Description- This class introduces the student to culinary techniques that include knife skills, food sanitation and safety, kitchen organization, food preparation, and moist and dry heat cooking methods. Students will prepare recipes and basic menus to include proteins, starches, and vegetables.
Fundamentals of Cooking 2. Wednesdays and Thursdays. 8:00AM-1:00PM. Palmer/174. 6 weeks August 28-Oct. 3 (60 hrs.). Description- this is an advanced course and will include preparation, cooking and service of menu items to include soups, salads, sandwiches, and creative hot and cold specials to be served in the 180 Palmer restaurant as part of a “Grab and Go” concept. Students will develop skills that will include teamwork and ex*****on of recipes in a specified time period in order to serve customers lunch.
