It’s time for some holiday cheer! Here are the dress up days for the 10 days of Christmas! 🎄

Bells were ringing this morning at Drayton Hall Elementary! The Arts Integration team were thrilled to welcome the Palmetto Bronze Handbell Ensemble to our school’s stage. This beautiful performance was made extra special by honoring the memory of our beloved librarian Wendy Taylor, who was a member of their ensemble. The students learned about the bells and were cheered by the holiday music. Thank you Palmetto Bronze for this heartwarming experience!

During the break, our Girls on the Run team was busy celebrating the end of their season with a 5k! These girls worked hard this fall - recognizing their individual strength, building connections, confidence, and finding joy in movement! 🏃🏻‍♀️🩷

Our Child Development classes at Drayton Hall had a Fantastic Fall! They celebrated their Tree Study with a Camping Day and their Building Study with a Big Box Building Day. Each class made their own building to share in play and learning. We can’t wait to see the fun that Winter will bring for our littlest Bobcats!

Time for an update on our Heart Challenge! We’re almost halfway to our KHC goal with 81 students signed up – can we hit 150 by Friday?! 🎉

What a treat it was for our CD students to learn about a Restaurant this week during their Building unit! Our special guests walked us through the building process of Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint on James Island. We loved learning how each part of the building helps them prepare food and serve customers. Then we all got to try a smoked BBQ or smoked Turkey slider! So fun and delicious! Thank you to Martin's BBQ Joint

Yesterday, fourth graders took a trip to the SC Aeronautical Training Center at Trident Technical College and had a BLAST! ✈️
