We are excited to announce that we are starting a new initiative to reward students for showing "PAWSitive" behavior at our school. Students can earn a PAWS ticket from any staff member when they are seen Practicing Kindness, Acting Responsibly, Working Hard and/or Staying Safe. Tickets from each grade level will be pulled on the morning news every week. Students who have their ticket pulled will be able to pick a prize from our new school store!
If any families would like to contribute any items to our school store; please check out our amazon wish list. Thank you in advance and we are so excited to celebrate our bobcats for making great choices!

We're getting in the holiday spirit at DHE! Celebrate the countdown to Winter Break with our 12 Days of Cheer beginning this Thursday, December 1.
Tallulah Branton is the 2022-2023 School Champion of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. She will go on to represent Drayton Hall Elementary in the CCSD Spelling Bee. The other finalists who competed were Braeden Daley, Graycin Bernstein, Mario Caldwell, Caleb Stiles, and Silas Henderson. Congratulations to all of our finalists and our school winner! We are so proud of all of you Bobcats.

eLearning day tomorrow, November 11! Your DHE teachers will be reaching out with the expectations and requirements for tomorrow.
All student work must be completed/turned in by Wednesday, November 16th in order for a student to be counted as present.
Due to the forecast for inclement weather related to Tropical Storm Nicole, all of Charleston County School District will switch to eLearning or remote work days tomorrow, Friday, November 11, 2022. School and district buildings will be closed, except for essential personnel.
Schools families will provide students and families with additional information about the eLearning Day later this afternoon or evening.
Kaleidoscope and all other extracurricular activities and afterschool programs scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2022, are canceled.

Drayton Hall Elementary is so thankful to have wonderful teachers and staff that share their knowledge of gardening with their students. Fall vegetables have been planted and the children will help tend the plants and enjoy the harvest! Thank you to parent donations and Rita’s Roots for gifting plants.
