Okay hear me out, this is wild but also could be good for new buyers looking for incentives to help get them into their first home…or even their second or third. Rates are high, whether you hear your elders say “we paid higher interest when I bought a home” … you also got your home for 29,900….

It used to be the average person stays in their home for 5 years before making a move … now it’s a bit longer thanks to Covid rates. You know I love an old home - arguably my favorite home I ever owned was built during the Great Depression (someday I’ll share pics) … but buying a home should be for everyone, period. And with new construction, builders are able to offer lower interest rates, closing costs, one year warranties, brand new washer/dryers and fridges and more - so in the most basic of terms, I’d argue that despite Charleston’s traffic, this could be great for the “The American Dream”

Charleston is one big, delicious, crowded but comfortable dinner table and everyone wants… and should get a seat at the table.

Free Legal Clinic for Veterans, Thursday October 8, 2026.
South Carolina Legal Services attorneys come to the VA Clinic on the second Thursday of each month to give general information on civil legal issues affecting veterans. Located at 6450 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC.

Starting October 1, Boone Hall Plantation Pumpkin Patch is in it's 30th year and runs through Sunday November 1. Located at Boone Hall Farms, 2464 N. Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am-7pm. Admission is $15 for ages 3 and up, kids 2 and under are free with an adult.

Halloween tractor tour
Circus Incredible
9-hole LED mini-golf course
Petting zoo and pig races
Doc's Variety and Magic Show
Corn maze.

I promise…we’ve got some handmade organic content coming any day now, but until I get to see the B roll - AI is doing a great job of removing all my clothes off the floor 🙌 and this time it got my new chair and curtains almost spot on wooo!

We are smack dab in the middle of a much needed renovation. Bathroom fixtures have been picked, but the demo has not started yet…I’m still missing moulding, a chunk of drywall from my ceiling and all of my board and batten in my hallway… and of course all I can think about is how badly I want to hang the rest of my wallpaper that I didn’t order enough of the first time. By this time next week I should, with any luck, have my bedroom finished - one room is better than no rooms, can I get an amen! Reno’s aren’t for the faint of heart and the truth is there’s a reason this one is taking so much longer than it should….actually quite a few reasons. So we are riding the roller coaster and hoping that our lunch doesn’t make its way back up…and that the new team I hired continues to be so so good at their jobs :) DM for their contact info! 💛🍋 T
