I was just gifted a "not yet available" new graphic novel from Frank W Baker and I can't put it down. May I encourage all of you followers of our Holocaust Education Film Foundation to support the cause and pre-order this book on Amazon...and follow Frank W Baker as his publicity machine takes off. You'll be glad you did...

In Memory - Max Glauben (1928-2022) 04/29/2022

We tried valiantly to get Max to sit down for one of our documentaries. Sadly, he passed away today at the age of 94. Though Max was great about sharing his story, there are untold stories still needing documentation before it’s too late. Here is a tribute to Max’ legacy.

Though you may not have seen a post from us since the release of Dr. Edie's tour-de-force, it does not mean we haven't been very busy searching out new programs to produce. We have two in development and we will make the announcements soon.

In the meantime, we felt compelled to produce a short video about events in Ukraine and wanted to share them with the group. This is tough to watch (on purpose) and will hopefully provide the inspiration to do something...anything...and we would appreciate suggestions of what we can do to help in any possible way.

Again, the images are disturbing and I'm warning you in advance. If you appreciate what you see, I would encourage you to share the Vimeo link with everyone you know. Now is the time...

Working with the incomparable Dr. Edie was one of the great experiences of my life. And to be honored with an Emmy is more a testament to her than me. From our team to you...you are a rock star! Much love from all your friends at the Holocaust Education Film Foundation.

A huge congratulations to Ron Small and his team who created and produced the documentary "I danced for the Angel of Death." Ron was awarded an Emmy for his directing, and it couldn't be more deserved!

It is now available to see on streaming networks! Here are the links to them :

Well, this was a total surprise tonight! We had a great team and this is for all of us.
Much love and thanks to Stan Greenspon, Mayor Billy Keyserling, Dr. Greg Greenberg, Judge Chuck Silverman, and Talli Aizenman Dippold for their invaluable assistance and vision. And we would be nowhere without our champions Adrienne Kennedy and John LaBonia at WLRN Miami Beach. Kudos to David Jones for his extraordinary Editing. Felix Arceneaux for his exquisite Videography. Alan Moskin for his candor and bravery. Finally, big love and thanks to the rock star herself, Dr. Edith Eger for allowing us to tell her remarkable story.

“All I see in front of me is complete chaos. Men being bitten by dogs and hurt by the SS and screaming and some of them they tried to say goodbye to their families on the train . And the NOISE -- actually paralyzed me with fear and I did not answer him.”

Major gift transforms the future of the Greenspon Center - Stan Greenspon Center for Peace and Social Justice 08/27/2021

"I Danced for the Angel of Death - The Dr. Edith Eva Eger Story" was made possible by a generous contribution from our own Stan Greenspon, as well as Mayor Billy Keyserling, Dr. Greg Greenberg and Judge Chuck Silverman. No surprise, but Stan Greenspon has now raised the bar with an extraordinary gift to ensure Holocaust education is front and center. Please read this article and join us in congratulating a real mensch and all-around great guy.

Major gift transforms the future of the Greenspon Center - Stan Greenspon Center for Peace and Social Justice Five short years ago, in 2016, Queens University of Charlotte launched the Stan Greenspon Center for Peace and Social Justice, inspired by Stan Greenspon’s vision for Holocaust education, the university’s ...

Talk about a power lunch. Here, our own Joe Engel, the inspiration for our Holocaust Education Film Foundation and the man behind "To Auschwitz and Back - The Joe Engel Story," holds his own copy of "I Danced for the Angel of Death - The Dr. Edith Eva Eger Story." Both powerful stories. Both had interactions with Joseph Mengele and both are adamant about teaching future generations the lessons of the Holocaust.
