Registration is open for our 2026 AITC Summer Workshops! We're changing things up this year and offering two overnight, 2-day workshops.

🚨Grant alert for SC schools!! Eight $500 mini-grants available for classrooms incorporating agriculture and growing food with students! Apply by September 7, 2026. 🌱

Applications are open for the 2026 Learn to Farm Classroom Mini-Grants! This program provides funding to support classroom project that enhance students' understanding of agriculture, farming and food systems.

This year, the SCFB Young Farmers and Ranchers are expanding the program to offer two $500 mini-grants per SC Farm Bureau district. That means we'll award eight mini-grants across the state!

The Great Southeast Pollinator Census: Host Site Training 05/12/2026

Want to help your community connect with pollinators this summer? 🐝🌼

Join Clemson Extension on May 28 for a free Zoom program designed for schools, libraries, community gardens, nature groups, HOAs, farms, public gardens, and other organizations interested in hosting a Great Southeast Pollinator Census event this August.

Learn how easy it is to participate, how to plan a successful public counting event, and how your organization can help support pollinator awareness and community science across South Carolina.

Participants will receive free promotional materials, and a limited number of reusable event signs will be available for host sites.

Spring school gardens popping up all over South Carolina! Lead Academy Charter School in Greenville was one of the 12 recipients of the SC School Garden Education & Assistance Program this semester. Thanks to funding from South Carolina Department of Education and in partnership with South Carolina Farm to School, they have had staff trained and a new garden ready for their sweet potato crops in a few weeks! We cannot wait to see this garden grow!

As the final onions come out of the ground, students are now getting ready to plant radish seeds. 🫜
