Fun with Phonics
Campers will build and stregthen their phonemic awareness and reading skills to get ready for the upcoming school year. Campers will engage in hands-on phonics activities and games. The activities will range in level fromthe novice reader to the budding expert!

STEAMing through Literature
Campers will dive into a different picture book each day and participate in a variety of STEAM activities derived from the pages of the book. Activities will enhance camper's creativity, cooperation, and ingenuity.

Maker Workshop
Campers will be introduced the the Arduino, 3-D printing, and Laser Engraver! Campers will ge hands on training on each device and learn how to safely operate the equopment. They will customize thier own water bottle learning the Lightburn software.

Campers will sepnd thier days performing experiments and investigations from a different branch of science each day. Each day hands-on experiments along with learning the science behind the experiments! Here are just a few of the experiments and investigations campers can look forward to:
Chemistry Day- invesitgating how to make the stretchiest slime
Biology Day - making your own ecosystems
Physics Day - egg drop challenge
Eath Science Day - creating your own volcanoes

Campers will be introduced to sewing and various cutter machines. Campers will learn the basics of sewing and sew thier own pillowcase. They will also learn Designer Space software for cutting machines to create their own monogram or designs for a Tye Dye T-shirt project. Grades 4th - 7th 8 am - 12 pm Monday - Thursday $225 and one time $25 registration Fee.

June 13, 2022-June 16, 2022 CODING CAMP
Campers will learn to code through the SCRATCH app. Using what thye learn, the campers will then code robots with Lego WeDo 2.0 and create their own Avatar in Mine Craft. The campers will work together in thier Mine Craft world to design and build thier land.

Good Afternoon! We at Addlestone STEAM Camp organize, create, and plan everything for your child to have a great summer experience. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are going to have to cancel the AHA STEAM Camp for 2020. This has been a difficult decision, but your children's health is our number one concern.
We will be posting fun STEAM activities through the summer for you to do at home to keep our campers minds challenged.
Please check back with us in January for information on the 2021 Addlestone STEAM CAMP.
