Operating as usual
[07/07/21] Carousel WILL be open tomorrow 7/8 however, we will have a delayed opening! We are opening at 10AM on Thursday morning to allow for the most severe weather to pass so our teachers and students can make it here safely. Thanks so much for your patience! We appreciate you all! 🕙🌩☔
With CCSD’s decision to close schools early tomorrow and because of potential severe weather, we will be closing at 2pm. We will still pick up the afterschoolers from school. We are very sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. Thank you for your cooperation!
🌀🌪**Tropical Storm Isaias**🌩⚡
We are closely monitoring Storm Isaias, and as of right now we will be open tomorrow morning; however, we will be closing early at 12:30pm. An early closure tomorrow will ensure that our teachers and families are able to get home and get their homes secured before any inclement weather begins rolling in. As always, we appreciate all of your support and if you have any questions please give us a call, stop by, or post your questions here!
Please stay safe everyone!
Carousel is open for all our families returning to work. We have been working with a very limited number of teachers due to only a few children attending who's essential parents have had to work. Please give us a 3 day notice as to when your child may be returning so we will have enough teachers to cover the classrooms. We miss our families and look forward to seeing everyone back soon. ❤🎠
We will continue practicing the Childcare Center Health and Safety Guidelines for the Corona 19 Virus as directed by the Center for Disease Control and the South Carolina Department of Childcare Licensing.
The city council members voted this afternoon to pass the “stay at home” ordinance for the city of Charleston, which states you must stay home, with the exception of necessary outings (grocery store, essential work, pharmacy, etc) This ordinance also means the closing of all non-essential businesses.
We, at Carousel 🎠 however, are on the essential businesses/services list and will remain open!
We will open at 7AM and close at 5PM.
Dear Carousel Family,
So far, and as long as they allow us, we will remain open. We will continue to exercise all precautionary measures i.e. disinfecting, washing and sanitizing any and everything while doing our best to remain available to our essential worker families. However, we will be implementing a few new measures to help us stay proactive in this unprecedented time:
A. Effective Monday March 23, 2020 our operating hours will be 7am to 5pm.
B. Please remember that we are remaining available for
ESSENTIAL WORKERS (medical staff, grocery store employees, etc.) If your child does not need to be here for you to go to work, please keep them home.
C. FOR ALL ROOMS-Drop off will end at 10am. Please do not bring your child in after 10am. We will be making staff schedules according to the number of
children that are here every morning.
D. Tuition, should you decide to keep your child home, will be half price. Starting next week, if you are out of work and you keep your child home with you but you are worried about tuition, please get in touch with Mr. JC and he can work out something with you on an
individual basis. Even if your child is out for multiple weeks we will need to be in touch with you every week regarding payments.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding anything, please feel free to stop by the front office or call. The safety of our children and staff is our number one priority. Please continue to sanitize before entering and taking your children to wash immediately upon arrival. As always, PLEASE keep your children at home if they are not feeling well, have a cough or a nasty runny nose. Hopefully, this will all end quickly and we can resume life as usual. Thank you for your kind words, support, and trust. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing Carousel family.
Carousel will be open for normal hours TOMORROW and we will provide further notice as needed. To ensure students have safe and healthy learning environments, sick students and staff will be required to stay home.
We closely monitor the communications of the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) and SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
