Head Start needs our help!

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has proposed significant changes to the Head Start Program Performance Standards – the standards that help ensure children and families across the country receive high-quality, comprehensive Head Start services. These could be detrimental to the success of the program.

Head Start has been successful for 61 years. This is a huge step backwards. The comment period ends on October 6, but you can comment every day until then. They will appreciate one or 40 comments.

Please reach out if you would like more information before commenting.

Thank you for supporting child care Delegate Geno Chiarelli.

I know how important childcare matters to Monongalians in District 78 and beyond. Our kids deserve the best, and that’s why I was proud to work to secure a $5000 grant for the Morgantown Early Learning Facility for renovations to their fence. I’m proud to have them in my district and we’re grateful for all the hard work they do for our families!
