Today was an incredible start to a new school year as we officially welcomed our Oakland teachers back!

A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for helping create such a warm welcome with beautiful décor. We also provided a delicious breakfast and kicked off the year by introducing our school theme: One Pod. One Purpose. Daily Impact. Together, we’re committed to partnering, taking ownership, and making intentional daily impacts that help every student thrive.

The energy, excitement, and commitment in the room make it clear that it’s going to be a fantastic year at Oakland!

Families, we can’t wait to welcome you and our students very soon. Here’s to an amazing 2026–2027 school year! 💙🖤🐋

Tomorrow we welcome teachers officially back into the building. Friday we welcome students. Getting ready for these days include partnerships with community members and PTO along with showing love to our budd group, they really make the building shine! Thank you to everyone who has helped create a smooth start to the year. (Note, everyone who has contributed is not pictured).
