We urge ALL of our to pick up their phones, call your district's and encourage them to protect the federal funding that has supported brain injury research and us survivors since the first established the Brain Injury Association of America nearly 50 years ago.📞🧠✊
Dear Brain Injury Champions and Advocates,
Congress is currently considering funding for Fiscal Year 2027 to fund critical brain injury programs. Our House Champions, Congressmen Luttrell and Deluzio, are circulating a letter to support funding that is a lifeline for survivors, families, clinicians, researchers, and educators. We cannot afford to lose them.
This funding would support vital brain injury programs like the ACBI TBI State Partnership Program, the CDC's HEADS UP Program, the National Concussion Surveillance System, and the TBI Model Systems.
Every message makes a difference. Our voices matter. Our programs matter. With your action, we can ensure Congress hears us loud and clear.

Just last week, we held our annual Christmas Party. While the pictured gift exchange was fun, we were all beyond surprised that the lot of us weren't in hibernation mode after filling our bellies with Lewis Barbecue's donated feastings!🍲🎄🎁

Last night's meeting was spectacular! One of our members, a survivor herself, helped spread her favorite mediums for creating artwork. This helped spread the knowledge of just how beneficial using one's creativity can be in opening new pathways, even damaged brains!🎨🖌🧠
