AMT is still on the search for one or two perfect part time employees that love children!!! We are interested in “qualified” teachers who meet or can meet these requirements:

-18 years old
-High school diploma or GED
-Physical assessment with P*P
-WV STARS certified
-Pre-Authorization certified
-Mandate to Report certified
-First Aid, CPR and AED training for infants,
toddlers & children
-TB screening from the KC Health
Department
-Pass a background/fingerprint check with
Identogo
-Pass a DHHR background check

AMT has not made a decision to close early today but I would like to stress that the roads are completely covered with heavy/wet snow. I would like all parents and families to use caution due to the forecast (as well as continuous accumulation for the next 4-5 hours). Notice to parents of school age children who attend AMT:

We cannot facilitate remote learning with school age children due to caring for children from four feeder schools and several children being of multiple ages. We just always want to clarify any concerns with your children being in our care on non traditional days. Thank you for your understanding in this matter and we still hope to see our school agers tomorrow for a safe, fun and healthy environment. 🥰

Due to colder temperatures approaching, snow falling and the road conditions being treacherous, AMT will not be open tomorrow (January 27). Unfortunately with multiple staff being snowed in and without 4 wheel drive transportation we have to make this decision in the best interest of everyone. With weather and road conditions not being safe for travel, AMT will be closed for operation January 26th. The staff and Director cannot risk being on the roads with WV still under a State of Emergency. As you can see, the Director’s hill is a solid sheet of ice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but the roads are too dangerous to travel on. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
