James Island Christian School Christ Centered Academically Excellent
Biblically Based
Service Driven The truth, as revealed in God’s Word, is the foundation for all subject matter.

James Island Christian School provides an opportunity for academic excellence within a Christ-centered environment that compliments the teaching of the home and the church. We believe that the ultimate responsibility for the education of a child rests with the parent. Therefore, there must be a partnership between parent and school, each supporting and reinforcing the other. At James Island Christian School, we provide for the education of the whole child: spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically. We believe that the Bible states moral absolutes; therefore, affirming our opposition to moral relativism, situational ethics, and values clarification.

“In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3

🐘🦒🐒 40 Days of Learning! 🌈🦁🦓

Today marks our 40th day of school, and K4 celebrated with a special lesson about Noah’s Ark and the 40 days and 40 nights of rain! 🌧️⛵️

After learning about God’s faithfulness to Noah, our students enjoyed animal crackers together, a sweet way to celebrate 40 wonderful days of learning and growing! 💙

🎻 Practice makes progress! 🎶

Our Upper School Orchestra is hard at work preparing for their upcoming concert! From tuning strings to perfecting every note, our students are putting in the time and effort to make their performance something special.

☀️ Field Day Fun! 🦁

Last week, our High School students headed to James Island County Park for their inaugural High School Field Day!

Sponsored by our SGA, the day was filled with games, friendly competition, lots of laughs, and a chance for our students to simply enjoy spending time together outside the classroom.

We love seeing our High School community continue to grow and create new traditions together! 💙

🏗️ Exciting things are happening at JICS! 🦁💙

Hear from Head of School Andy Whitlock as he shares the latest updates on our Next Generation Building and what’s ahead as we prepare to open this incredible new space for our students!

And we’d love for you to be part of the celebration! 🎉

Please join us for a special Celebration Chapel on Wednesday, October 14 at 12:00 PM in the James Island Christian Church Sanctuary, followed immediately by our official Ribbon Cutting.

After the ceremony, the new building will be open for families to walk through and see the space!

We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting milestone in the story of James Island Christian Church and School with our JICS community. 💙
