The Growing Place The Growing Place offers preschool for twos, threes and fours. We are a collaborative site for WV Pre-K for children who are four before July 1.

We are open 7:45 - 5:30 with early drop-off and after care services available for all ages. The Growing Place is dedicated to the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child. Activities are designed using the Creative Curriculum model with the goal of nurturing self-confidence, independence, and creativity. The Growing Place uses a child-centered approach allowing each child to discover and learn at his or her own pace. Caring, experienced teachers facilitate learning through creative play and age-appropriate activities that engage, empower, and encourage early learning and development.

Dear Families,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved cook, Eva.
Eva passed away peacefully in her sleep, and our entire daycare family is deeply saddened by this loss. She was much more than our cook-she was a warm, caring presence in the lives of our children and staff every day. Through her kindness, gentle spirit, and the love she poured into preparing meals for our children, she touched countless lives.
Many of our children knew Eva by name and looked forward to seeing her each day. She greeted everyone with a smile and cared for our daycare family as if it were her own. Her absence will be felt deeply throughout our center.
During this difficult time, we ask that you keep Eva's family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. We are grateful for the time we had with her and for the lasting impact she made on our children, staff, and community.
We will remember Eva with love, gratitude, and affection, and her memory will remain a cherished part of our daycare family!
