This quarter’s zoom lesson is going to be life casting. A life cast is one of the most basic skills you’ll need to be an FX Artist! I will host this on a 2 day weekend. Breaking it up one day for casting the head and shoulders, and the second for making the bust. As an added bonus I’ll show you how to make a face cast from head and shoulders casting!

RATHER than try and do a live life cast and talk and answer questions at the same time, it will be a prerecorded life cast viewing party. I will watch and pause live and discuss and answer questions. I will illustrate materials and show you everything you need to know to make a great life cast! (figured this would be easier to answer questions and help everyone watching than trying to do one live, and juggle everything else)

You can buy supplies ahead of time if you like, because just like last time I will do a blog post of a materials list several weeks before the date. That way you can bring a partner and work along with the video, or you can just watch it and ask questions with the rest of us. :) It’s going to be very informative, (and so affordable it’s stupid!) Lol! I’ll have more deets for you in a couple days! Hope everyone’s well!

Hey kids! Just took a couple days off to recoup from all this monster madness. I just wanted to pop in and say thank you so much for helping make Halloween fun for me! Getting to do these makeups with you this past month has been a real highlight to me in a very difficult year. I hope that you had even half as much fun as I did! I know I was so pleased with the work I was seeing, you guys were amazing and really did latch onto these techniques as well as I thought you would! Keep practicing!!! Also I need to give a special thank you to Cyber graphic designs for stocking and putting up special pages for these classes, he is over stocked though and is clearing out at 40% off! Check in with them for some great deals! Also need to let you know a few last sundry items :
- keep an eye out for that last video for those of you that took the class it will be up probably tomorrow.
- watch your e mails I will be sending out a survey to everyone I am not sure which is better a prerecorded format or what we just did with zoom, what other classes do you think you’d like me to teach this way ? Etc... so your feedback would be very helpful to me ! Let me know your thoughts

We had another successful and awesome class this Saturday! I have just sent the recording of the class to all the participants, (please check your e mail, and test your link and password). Remember, if you can't join us you can still get the class sent to you afterwards, take your time gathering supplies and practice at your own pace for up to one full year!

THE MONSTER is this Saturday at NOON (eastern time because this is a long one!) You can still get tickets up to one hour before the class starts! I'll go over the supplies with everyone tomorrow online, here, so we can make sure to have everything if you are wanting to practice along with me on Saturday! Thanks again for everything and well see you on Halloween!

Check it out kiddos! Fun times! There is a nice little loot haul for the winner, from both McKenzie and I, and I know you kids know what out of kit construction make up is by now 😉 get those brushes crackin! We had another GREAT weekend monster makeup party with Rj's Monster Madness and THE MONSTER'S WIFE on Saturday! Sorry you missed it!
