What is this event for?
• This event was created as tribute to TyWanza Sanders in order to fund $4,000 worth of scholarships for graduating seniors in our Charleston area! Specifically, James Island Charter High School, Burke, and West Ashley High School. Their goal is raise enough money in order to have this scholarship at every Charleston High School.
Who was Tywanza?
• As stated by the Co-Founder, Dominque Gray, he was," a man with a philanthropic spirit and a commitment to the achievement of youth in his community and beyond, was the youngest victim of the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church Massacre."
Volunteering with the SNA gets you an opportunity to help your community and with this event you will be able to eat some freshly glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! Sounds like a win-win to me!

A big thank you to all who donated to our "I am Voices" project! We were able to make roughly 86 bags!!! WOW!!🥳
These bags will go to girls and women in our community that have aged out of the Foster Care System, affected by homelessness, human trafficking, or sexual violence.

Do you want to help first-year students? Do you have tips or tricks that you wished you knew earlier on? Then mentoring might be for you!
Mentoring is an amazing way to help your peers be successful, ranging from giving studying advice to motivating them through the program.
If you are in NUR 158/195 and above and interested, please e-mail your BTN board member, Katie Infante!
For every hour that you help your mentee, you earn 0.25 points toward extra credit in the course you are in.
NOTE: To be a mentor, you must be an SNA member.
