Hello Meeting Street Academy Families,

Remember tomorrow, Wednesday 9/28 is a half day for ALL students with a 12:00 pm dismissal. Also, there is NO EXTENDED DAY.

In addition, we are keeping an eye on the severe weather that could potentially impact the Charleston area later this week. We will send out any updates if the weather will impact our school procedures. As a reminder, we follow CCSD in regard to weather updates, delays, and/or cancellations.

•EARLY DISMISSAL•
After careful review and consideration of this afternoon's expected weather and flooding conditions, we will dismiss early today, Friday, September 9th. We will begin dismissing students an hour early at 2:30 pm. All Extended Day activities are CANCELLED. All students need to be picked up by 3:45 pm. We highly recommend that you come and pick up your child as soon as possible. We will excuse all early dismissals. Please be mindful that sections of Cool Blow St., Nassau St., and Hanover St. will most likely be flooded. Please be safe!

Due to anticipated inclement weather along with expected high tide during morning arrival, we are evaluating a delayed start for Friday, September 9th. We will make the final decision by 7:00pm tonight so that you can prepare for the morning. Expect to receive a follow-up message from Principal Milford with the final decision. If school is delayed, we will excuse late arrivals.
