PQV to our students, faculty, and staff who paddled in Saturday’s Dragon Boat Charleston Festival to support and celebrate cancer survivors! The only school with student participants, Ashley Hall has had at least two student boats and one faculty/staff boat every year since the festival started in Charleston in 2008. This year’s faculty/staff team Miels Ahead came in first place in their first heat, and the student-led Purple Paddling Panthers are the undefeated recipients of the Team Spirit Award every year. Awesome work supporting a worthy cause!

Congratulations to the Ashley Hall Track Team for finishing their season strong at the SCISA State Track Championship this weekend. A special shout out to Bryce Turberville ’21 who jumped 10 feet 6 inches to become SCISA state champion in the pole vault. Awesome work, Panthers! #gogirlgo

What a wonderful Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week! From fresh flowers and notes to breakfast and rolled quesadillas, parents and students have expressed their gratitude in some very meaningful and creative ways. As one student wrote on the Chalk Wall, “Whatever we need, however strange it is, if it is important they will help us.” Thank you faculty and staff for always supporting our students—that’s the essence of the Ashley Hall community! Thank you as well to the amazing Parent Engagement Team and all the parents who volunteered; it has been a week of appreciation worth remembering! #thereisnoplacelikeashleyhall
