Join us outside here at the Park Circle campus this Friday, August 14, as Mayor Burgess helps cut the ribbon to celebrate North Charleston becoming an Autism Friendly City. The sensory friendly ‘beehive’ trailer will be on hand along with our friends from Just Bee. We’ll also have DJ Ede providing the tunes, Dabbledy Doo Face Painting providing face painting, Wetzel's Pretzels food truck, Kona Ice Charleston AND burgers and dogs fresh off the grill (while supplies last). The community is invited to celebrate the start of school and the City of North Charleston officially becoming Autism Friendly through the training programs led by JUST BEE with our public safety staff and city council members. This event runs from 4-7 pm, the ribbon cutting will take place at 5pm.
