Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry We are Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry (ILCM) at EIU! We are dedicated to supporting one another and growing in our faith!

Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry (ILCM) is a dedicated group of students exploring the Christian Faith by studying God's Word, supporting one another in ministry, sharing the Good News and gathering in Christian fellowship. We are a ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a Recognized Student Organization at EIU. We like to think of ourselves as your Christian family away from home! We'd love to

have you join us sometime and see what we're about! We are located at the Immanuel Lutheran Student Center at 10th St and Cleveland Avenue (across from Tarble Arts Center). Feel free to contact our Student Leader Team at [email protected] if you have questions about events, bible studies, worship, or if you just want to chat for a bit. Worship times at Immanuel are Saturday evenings at 5 PM (Contemporary) and Sunday mornings at 9 AM (Traditional). Our weekly Bible Study meets on Mondays from 7:30-8:30 PM at the Immanuel Student Center. Our weekly Unwind Wednesday hangout time is every Wednesday from 7-9 PM at the Immanuel Student Center.

As the fall semester begins on August 24, we extend a warm welcome to all returning and new students at Eastern Illinois University! Whether you're back on campus or beginning your college journey for the first time, we pray that God blesses you with a successful year of learning, growth, and new opportunities. As the school year comes to a close, we just want to say—what an incredible year it’s been! 🎉📚

To all our students: thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the many ways you’ve been part of our ILCM community this year. We’re so grateful for each of you!

As summer begins, our regular school-year activities will pause and pick back up in August. We hope this season is filled with rest, fun, and meaningful time with family and friends. ☀️

Take a deep breath, trust the work you’ve put in, and remember that your worth is so much more than a grade. Do your best, take care of yourself, and don’t forget to rest when you can.

Come join us this evening as we start a new study working our way through the Song of Solomon.
At first glance (or more likely blush), one may wonder what this book is doing in the bible, let alone how it is like Jesus. We will be exploring the deep history of this book in the Christian church. The Song of Solomon's deep connections to other passages of scripture-- and endeavor to find Christ's crimson blood, glorious promises, and beautiful Gospel pouring richly out of every page of the Bible.
