Happy end of exam week!
We have some upcoming events that you all need to be aware of!
First, we will be having a Homecoming pep-rally for basketball on February 12th.
Throughout the week of February 12(8-12) will be spirit week so we will need to work on Dress up days for that when we return on the 25th!

Due to projected inclement weather, all CCSD schools are closed tomorrow, October 2, 2015, for teachers, students and school-based staff. This includes all after school programs and athletics. Athletic games scheduled for tomorrow night are rescheduled for play on Monday, October 5.

This day will be made up on Friday, October 23, 2015, for students. This is a scheduled, board-approved CCSD student make-up day.

District level employees and 12-month employees are expected to work from a safe location tomorrow. All employees should communicate their plans with their direct supervisor prior to tomorrow morning.

Non-school based staff (Bridgeview, Calhoun, St. Andrew’s Professional Learning Center, etc.) are permitted to leave early today due to inclement weather.

Stay safe and dry and we will see you on Monday!

[05/07/15]   The dance that was scheduled for this Saturday, May 9th, has been canceled. If you have already purchased a ticket, please find the Student Council member you bought the ticket from for a refund. Please have your ticket when you do.

Congrats to our Varsity Boys Soccer team and their beautiful assist+goal double bicycle kick!!

www.si.com A South Carolina high school soccer team flawlessly executed a double-bicycle kick goal in a game Tuesday night.

[04/21/15]   Something we have been trying to do all year will finally happen: on Saturday, May 9th, the Student Council, along with the basketball cheerleaders will sponsor a dance in the school. The dance is Hawaiian/Island themed. It will also be Sadie Hawkins dance (girls ask guys to the dance).

Tickets will be sold starting next week for $3 and $5 at the door and during all three lunches the week of the dance.

If you have any questions, ask Ms. King, Ms. Beyoglides, or your Student Council representatives.

[03/30/15]   Happy Spring Break everyone!! Hope you all are enjoying your time off of school!

A quick reminder to all Student Council Members: Service hours for 3rd 9-weeks are due at the next general assembly meeting.

[02/09/15]   Today was the last day to buy chocolate roses for Valentine's Day from Student Council members. But don't worry, we will be selling them at lunch this Friday at the same price as before!

[02/01/15]   All Student Council members: please remember to make 5 posters/flyers to put up around the school. You must show your class president/VP to sign off that you did them.

Also, there is a mandatory officers' meeting tomorrow, Monday Feb 2nd.

[01/31/15]   Starting this Monday (Feb 2nd) until next Monday (Feb 9th), the Student Council will be selling chocolate roses. They will be selling at $2 for 1 or $5 for 3. You can buy one from any Student Council member.

They will delivered during 2nd period on the Friday before Valentine's Day so make sure you know the room # or name of the teacher of the person you are sending it to.

Important Announcements:

We will follow an Advisory schedule on Tuesday, January 20th with advisory from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Students will receive 1st semester report cards and new schedules.

Students who took the ASVAB to meet with recruiters for ASVAB interpretation on Wednesday, January 28th during the last half hour of 2nd period.

Home basketball game this Friday, January 16 vs. Wando. Wear white for a “white out.” The first 100 patrons who arrive wearing white for the Girls Varsity game receive a t-shirt at the beginning of the varsity game (which starts at approximately 6:30 PM).
