Thank you to the over 500 alumnae donors who raised over $335,000 for the 2023-2024 Loyalty Fund! The Purple & White Competition rallies alumnae support for Ashley Hall each year, through donations to the Loyalty Fund and participation in Alumnae Weekend events. PQV to Ashley Hall alumna and Aquatics Director Missee Fox '73 for her adventurous spirit as she sailed the high seas during this year's Offshore Leadership Program. ⛵👏 Over the last two weeks, Missee, alongside Dr. Roscoe Davis and sixteen Upper School students, crewed a tall ship from St. Croix to Charleston for this epic Ashley Hall signature program. 🙌

Ashley Hall graduates Glenn Edmunds Jeffries '79 and Bailey A. Horn '15, both of whom work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, returned to campus today to meet with students in honor of Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.

Accompanied by female engineers and STEM professionals from eight federal agencies, our alumnae led and organized discussions, hands-on science activities and countless professional introductions to give students the opportunity to learn about various career opportunities in fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

"This is a time to reflect and think about all the things that engineers and STEM professionals have done for us," Jeffries shared with students to kick off their day of experiential learning. "We hope that it will inspire you to make a difference in the world through engineering and science as well."

Last evening, a group of students spanning the grades 9 through 12 participated in the Re-Imagining the Gadsden Creek Community Panel held at Burke High School. Among the panelists was Ashley Hall alumna Merrie Koester '74.

The panel deliberated on its aspirations for the Gadsden Green community, emphasizing the importance of creek restoration and addressing persistent flooding problems on the western edge of the Charleston peninsula, adjacent to the Ashley River. Through their ongoing endeavors, the group remains committed to rejuvenating the area through conservation efforts, prioritizing environmental sustainability over further urban expansion.
