Congratulations to Dennis Preston, who was recently named a Fellow by the American Dialect Society. Dennis, a renowned American linguist, was at CofC in February of 2020 as a guest speaker for the Linguistics Studies Program.

Adjunct Professor of Linguistics Honored by American Dialect Society | College of Arts & Sciences LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Dennis Preston, adjunct professor of linguistics in the University of Kentucky’s College of Arts & Sciences, was named a Fellow by the American Dialect Society.
