The reveal that brought happy tears!

Their faces at the reveal. This is why I love what I do. 🤍

For The Category I had the pleasure of bringing their new identity to life through merch, business cards, apparel, and launch-party merchandising.

Each employee received a beautiful tote filled with a hat, scarf, pen, matches, and stickers, then picked out their favorite T-shirt. Watching them discover every detail, and seeing Kat tear up, was such a highlight.

This was more than a merch reveal. It was a celebration of their evolution and the chapter to come. What a blessing to love what I do and help make moments like this feel special.

And because every project seems to inspire a new DIY, I made a stencil on my Cricut to add their logo mark to the Prosecco and macarons. A little extra celebration, right down to the last detail.

Kat, thank you for trusting me with this milestone. Winston, what a beautiful brand to build upon. 🤍

If eight taught us anything, it’s that it takes a lot to slow this kid down. 💙

You broke your arm not once, but twice (because apparently once wasn’t enough 😂), made club soccer, earned your gray-black belt in Jiu Jitsu, and somehow just kept going through all of it.

But as proud as we are of everything you accomplished this year, it’s who you’re becoming that gets me most. You’re funny, determined, competitive, endlessly curious, and still one of the most tender-hearted kids I know.

You’re also more mature than we sometimes realize. You can walk into a room and talk to adults just as easily as kids, and watching you confidently make your own Pokémon deals at card shows might be one of my favorite things. You know what you want, you’re not afraid to ask questions or negotiate, and there are these little moments when we get a glimpse of the person you’re growing into.

Watching you find the things you love—and work hard at them—has been one of my favorite parts of eight.

And now here we are at NINE. Somehow you’re looking more grown up by the day, while that wide grin is still exactly the same.

Happy 9th birthday, Wes. 💙 Here’s to another year of big goals, great Pokemon pulls, big laughs, new adventures…and maybe zero broken bones.

PSA: You can finally rearrange your Instagram grid. 👏

And if you’re anything like me, this is BIG news.

I have so many past projects, photos and moments I never posted because too much time had passed and suddenly they felt “dated.” Well… not anymore. 😂

Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to your Instagram profile.
2. Tap Edit Profile and select Reorder Grid— or simply press and hold on one of your posts and choose Reorder Grid.
3. Drag and drop your posts wherever you want them to live.
4. That’s it! Your grid updates with the new arrangement.

Your original post, likes and comments stay intact—you’re simply changing where it appears on your profile.

So consider this your warning: I’m officially going back into the archives and posting all the things I never got around to sharing. ✨

Because apparently…it’s never too late for the grid.

What a year six has been Emmett Layne 💙

The year you conquered your fear of the water.
The year the training wheels came off. 🚲
The year you earned your gray-white belt in jiu-jitsu. 🥋
And the year your love for speed earned you the nickname “Engines” on the soccer field. ⚽️💨

You are funny, fearless, determined and always ready for the next adventure—forever drumming your hands to the beat in the car and bringing your own rhythm to everything you do.

Watching you realize you can do the things that once scared you has been one of my favorite parts of this year.
