Awards Day is one of our favorite traditions at CCS! From Honor Roll and exceptional attendance to art, music, sports, and class awards, we love celebrating the hard work, character, and accomplishments of our K5–8th grade students. Every student has gifts worth recognizing, and we are so proud of the way they’ve grown this year!

What a way to celebrate an incredible year! From inflatables and yard games to Tikiz SnoCones, dunk tanks, and nonstop laughter, our End of Year Celebration was full of fun and memories. We are so proud of all our students accomplished this year and loved celebrating each and every one of them!

Our 8th graders had the opportunity to serve and encourage younger students through reading, and we couldn’t be prouder. Thank you for being leaders who use your gifts to build others up!

Digging into discovery! Our 5th graders visited Martin Marietta Quarry, where they explored the world of mining and geology firsthand. From learning how materials are extracted to searching for fossils, it was a rock-solid day of hands-on learning! Check out what they found!

Checkmate! Our 2nd–8th grade Chess Club competed in the SCISA tournament and had an incredible time. From strategic moves to great sportsmanship, we’re proud of the way our students represented CCS both on and off the board!

Our 1st graders spread their wings at Caw Caw! From studying beaks and feathers to using binoculars to observe birds in action, students discovered what makes these creatures so unique. A day full of exploration for our budding birders!
